Continuing Education - Michigan Builders License Renewal Class

Description

This course is the required 3 hour course the all licensed builders need to take to renew their licenses. (Builders in the first 6 years of their licensure also need an additional 18 hours every 3 years.) The course covers an hour each of Law, Safety and Code. We will cover licensing and various legal issues relating to contractors in the Law portion. In the Safety portion we cover OSHA and MIOSHA regulations and the currently emphasized programs. In the Code portion, we will cover the Current code, the 2015 Michigan Residential Code. We will also cover WHY it is still the current code. We will do the class at the HBAJ offices on March 31 and April 1 at 9:00 am both days.
