BuildersCare 2026 – Community Curb Appeal Project The Home Builders Association of Jackson, Hillsdale & Lenawee, in partnership with the Jackson Area Association of Realtors, will host the BuildersCare Community Curb Appeal Project May 1–3 on N. Pleasant St. between Ganson St. and North St. in Jackson. Volunteers from the building industry will work alongside residents to improve homes from the front of the residence to the curb, including tree trimming, landscaping, power washing, driveway gravel, and other minor exterior improvements. As part of BuildersCare, the HBA will also “adopt” a home in the neighborhood that needs more extensive work, bringing together skilled trades and volunteers to complete a larger project that can make a meaningful difference for a local resident. BuildersCare demonstrates what can happen when the building industry comes together to invest in the neighborhoods where we live and work.
