Instructions for Completing Your HBAJ Online Membership Application

  1. Select Membership Type:
    • Builder Member: For businesses or individuals involved in home building, remodeling, or land development.
    • Associate Member: For businesses providing products or services to the home building industry.
    • Affiliate Member: For employees of current Builder or Associate Members who want to engage with HBAJ.
  2. Complete All Required Fields:
    Fill out all sections with accurate information, including company details, contact information, and business category. Incomplete applications may delay processing.
  3. Submit Payment:
    After submitting your application, you will be directed to complete payment securely online. Membership is not active until payment is received.
  4. Review and Confirm:
    Double-check your information before submitting to ensure accuracy.
  5. Submit Application:
    Applications are reviewed promptly, and memberships become active once payment is received.

A Builder Member in the Home Builders Association (HBA) is defined as a business or individual directly involved in residential or commercial construction, remodeling, or land development. This category includes home builders, general contractors, remodelers, and developers who are actively engaged in building or renovating homes and structures. Builder members benefit from industry advocacy, networking, educational resources, and opportunities to connect with suppliers and associate members.

A Builder Membership is $575 Annually

The Home Builders Association (HBA) defines an Associate Member as a business or individual that provides products or services to the home building industry but is not directly involved in home construction. This includes professionals such as suppliers, real estate agents, financial institutions, insurance providers, designers, and other related industries. Associate members benefit from networking opportunities, increased visibility within the industry, and the chance to build relationships with builders and other members.

Associate Membership is $575 Annually

The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council of the HBA of Jackson, Hillsdale & Lenawee is dedicated to supporting the growth, leadership, and success of women in the residential building industry.

As part of the National Association of Home Builders Professional Women in Building Council, our local council will connect members to education, networking, and community impact opportunities across Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee counties.

Annual membership dues are $150 per year, which includes membership in the NAHB Professional Women in Building Council. Dues support local programming including events, marketing, and community impact initiatives across Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee counties. Membership is based on a 12-month cycle from the date of enrollment.
